Are you more optimistic or pessimistic in your parenting style? Most of us are a combination of both, while some of us lean predominantly to one side. Read through each column, and give yourself one point for each of the qualities that apply to you in either column

If your score indicates that you are an optimistic parent, congratulations! Keep up the affirmative approach to life. You are most likely a role model in your child’s life and a positive influence to many. Read chapter eleven to enhance your strengths and further your skills. If your score indicates that you are a pessimistic parent, consider
it an invitation to make a much needed change while there is still time. Study chapter eleven with diligence, and practice the 5 ways to develop healthy optimism, and the five ways to stomp out pessimism.
